Don Fay
Don Fay graduated from the California College of Arts and Crafts; completed his formal education at the Art Center College of Design and later studied extensively with Robert E. Wood and Sergei Bongart. He now devotes himself to painting and teaching, after a successful career as an illustrator, designer and art director. He is an award-winning artist in both the commercial and fine art fields and has completed several corporate murals in recent years. Notable of his teaching assignments are yearly Sierra seminars in Yosemite and Montecito-Sequoia. He has taught watercolor classes at the college level and is active as a demonstrator and teaching seminars. Don is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society, an artist member of the California ArtClub, and a signature member of the Gold Coast Watercolor Society/Buenaventura Art Association. He has had over thirty one man shows and continues to exhibit in galleries and juried exhibitions.
